Present day changes in climatic conditions and temperature variations have been increasingly attributed to global warming. Extreme weather conditions: Of late, in the last few decades, there has been an increase in climatic fluctuations.

Many parts of the world are concurrently affected by droughts, bitter cold temperatures, torrential rains, heat waves etc. There is an alarming increase in the occurrences of such phenomenon. Many glacier filled areas in the world are undergoing a radical change, in the process destroying many animal and plant life forms. A few years from now, we all will know if these changes are permanent or temporary but tight now global warming statistics indicate that this is a man made catastrophe that can alter the life cycle of the earth.
