Besides consistently excellent results, the school is known for its emphasis on developing spiritual qualities and inculcating a global perspective and international vision in children.
Last few weeks we’ve got weekly report of the World Parliament seminar held in CMS, Gomtinagar brunch under the aegis of the Graduate School of World Problems, India, sent by Smita Chandra, Assistant Secretary GSWP, India Campus. The seminars are addressed by MR. Jagdish Gandhi, Founder CMS and President GSWP, India Campus, Mr.R.S. Chandola, HOD CMS, Dr. Preeti Shankar Editor CMS and Mr. Shishir Srivastava, Deputy Co-ordinator CMS.

Mr. Jagdish Gandhi said that the continuing deterioration in the international environment and world’s ever-increasing nuclear arsenal, together with global warning and consequential climatic changes pose a serious threat to the very survival of life on our planet. The series of conferences organized by CMS on Article 51 of the Constitution of India are part of its campaign to make the world realize the urgent need of the formation of a World Government to solve these problems that require joint international attention. Mr. Jagdish Gandhi expressed his hope that the 4th Intenational Conference of Chief Justices of the World would greatly strenghten this issue further and the voices of these children would be heard by all the leaders of the present world as well as the judiciary. He was very happy to note that students were so much aware about the present world situation and felt so acutely a change was needed in the present world scenario.

Mr .R.S. Chandola spoke about the qualities of a ideal world citizen. He said that a world citizen shoulders an immense responsibility of being role model of others. He is an enlightened, concerned and responsible individual who sees his life as a mission to serve humanity. CMS is constantly trying to train the students to achieve the high ideals of world citizenship and also making them sensitive to the needs of the present century. The CMS peace education program is an education for life.

Mr. Shishir Srivastava gave the participating students some tips on the art of effective speaking. He said that in order to make others comprehend the depth of our views it is important that whatever we speak is said in a simple yet effective way. We should believe in ourselves and analyse all the aspects of our views we express them in public.A balance of sweetness and conviction is the most important aspect of any speech, he said.
