Educational Seminars

Graduate School for World Problems works as a part of WCPA, led by Miss Eugenia Almond MA more than a dozen of years.

This year, Graduate School organizes two Seminars in different countries. Miss Eugenia Almond MA, DR. Glen Martin, and Dr. Terrence Amersinghe did an incredible job developing the seminars in Takoradi, Ghana in May, and Lucknow, India in June 2002.

1.Primary goal of these Seminars is to study the Constitution for the Federation of Earth.

2.World Economic System as defined by the Earth Constitution.

3.World Legislation of the Provisional World Parliament.

4.History, and philosophy of the World Government, and Parliamentary Law, and Policy.

Purpose of the Program of Study

A fundamental purpose of the Seminars of the Graduate School of World Problems is to study the Constitution for the Federation of Earth, to learn why this world constitution is the best constitution for world government, and to discover how to get this Earth Constitution ratified.

Other primary goals are to prepare the students for implementing the World Legislation enacted by the Provisional World Parliament, and for preparing the personnel for all ministries, and agencies for the World Government.

Finally, students examine world problems from within the context or paradigm of emerging non-military, democratic world government, as described by the Constitution for the Federation of Earth.

World Problems

World Problems are problems which transcend national boundaries, and require that solutions be worked out, and implemented on a global or supra-national basis by a world legislature, and a world government, either entirely or in part, but in collaboration as needed with national, and local governments. Almost all world problems overlap. Requiring inter-related solution. World problems include the following:

ARMAMENTS – Elimination of nuclear, mass destruction, light arms, biological, and chemical weapons.

CLIMATE CHANGE – What is happening, and how to overcome: The Phytoplankton Project.

ENERGY - Rapid transition from fossil fuels, and nuclear to solar, hydrogen, and other life-safe energy sources.

ECONOMY - The new global finance, and credit system with one world currency.

EMPLOYMENT - for all, at useful work, equitable income distribution.

HUMAN RIGHTS - and World Ombudsmus.

WORLD RESOURCES - Planning for wise use, and sustainable development.

GLOBAL COMMONS - Atmosphere, oceans, forests, and rivers.

FOOD & WATER SUPPLIES - and agriculture.

TRANSPORTATION – Integrated global system.

DEMOCRACY – From local to global.

HEALTH and NUTRITION – Major problems of AIDS, cancer, oxygen supply.

Program Features

This three week seminar of the Graduate School of World Problems will provide a basic overview of the problems facing humanity, as well as constructive steps which can be taken within the context of the emerging global society, and world government.

Experienced guest lecturers will inform the problems, and their relation to world federal history. Students will examine the structure of Provisional

World Government including both constitutional, and legislative aspects. Students will build on practical projects to strengthen their own leadership skills within the emerging Earth Federation.

The three-week program includes study materials, graduation certificate, and banquet lunches, and teas. Lodging is provided for participants coming from outside of Lucknow.
