A Letter from Takoradi, Ghana, Africa

Very, very good work is being done! While the Seminar was going on, we had an invitation from President of Togo. He sent the invitation through Professor Balouki with a Courtesy visa for me to enter Togo. So, with Eugenia and BAlouki, I dod a vfery exausting trip through Accra to Lome on the 16th May and entered Lome on the 17th. We were taken immidiately to the Presidential Palace. President Eyadema was waiting for us. He was a very relaxed mood. I outlined to him the plan for Global EXhibitions and the New Credit and Financial System. He listened carefully and said that I was proposing something very important and I should outline everything before his Cabinet the next day at 10.00 a.m.
He than talked informally, offered us a shampagne and asked me to talk to the Press and TV. Well, we were on TV that night.
To meet him on Saturday at 10.00 a.m. on 15/5/02 was the biggest breakthrough we have ever had! The entire Cabinet was present, including the Speaker and the Finance Minister. Well, I spoke again assisted by Eugenia; we had over an hour’s discussion. The President said he agreed with everything including the holding of a Global Exhibition in Lome. He will take the lead in asking neighboring countries and other national governments to join. He asked the ministers to continue discussions with us individually. He wanted us to stay longer in Togo which we were unable to do. We agreed to continue discussions by letter through Professor Balouki.
The President said he was more than aware of the US treat to stop World Bank loans to those who refused to toe the US line. He said he was bold enough to withstand it. He wished you to pay a visit at the time of the Seminar.
The President entertained us to lunch

and champahne, He thanked us for ciming and wished we would come again. He wanted a SEminar of GSWP in LOme in June/July next

year, and the First Global Exposition and PWP in DEcember 2003/January 2004. He well understood the meaning of the GlobalExhibition-the difference between it and the INternational EXhibitions now being promoted by the rich 7 nations.
We have instructed Prof.Balouki to build a strong WCPA in lome. It will be further strenghtened by the Seminar of GSWP in JUly 2003.
Eugenia and Prof.Balouki did very well and I must say that Prof.Balouki has very good relations with President Eyadema.
For me it was a landmark to address a national government’s Cabinet with the head of state presiding.
We must give publicity by bringing out a special edition of “Across Frontiers”. We have all the photographs and a copy of the TV film.
You were always saying that we must expand our work in Africa. It is happening now. We have plans to hold a GSWP Seminar in Nairobi before or after LOme next June/July.
Professor Balouki is reday to travel in neighboring states to Togo with President’s Eaydema’s message calling upon them to join.
We are now back in Takoradi, GHana , continuing the Seminar. DR. Martin will join us at the end of this week. We will have a Press Conference in Ghana before we conclude. There are four or more English papers in Ghana because it is an English speking country.

“i am up and doing with a heart for any fate, still achiving, still pursuing.....”
