SECTION
Dear
Colleagues,
Greetings!
We would like to take an opportunity to introduce our organization
and its objectives to you in brief.
The World Constitution and Parliament Association (WCPA) organized
in 1959, is composed of individual members in many countries
with local chapters and national branches. The Global Ratification
and Elections Network (GREN) was started by WCPA in 1992,
and is composed of organizations of diverse kinds and programs,
but joined to achieve the ratification and implementation
of the Constitution for the Federation of Earth and legislation
adopted by the Parliament. GREN organizations elect delegates
to the Provisional World Parliament. Till to date, the GREN
has about 2,300 participatory organizations in more than 146
countries with a combined individual membership of about
150 million. Youth organizations represent the majority of
individual members, which help speed this campaign to establish
a non-military democratic federal Worl Government, before
universal tragedies overwhelm us.
Because
of the United Nations being ineffective of what it was set
up for young people from all over the world thought it was
time for the UN to be reformed. But the UN cannot be reformed
because its charter cannot be amended and the proposed improvement
without amendments is delusions. It has failed to solve global
problems because there are defects in the organization. Therefore,
what is truly needed is nothing less than an entire different
and new Constitution for the Federal World Government. This
was fully recognized as early as 1946. The truth of the necessity
for World Government has since been covered up and treated
as unrealistic, but still remains the basic practical requirement
for a peaceful world society able to solve global problems
and serve human needs. Our organization WCPA and GREN seek
to replace the Charter of the United Nations with a democratically
drafted Constitution for the Federation of Earth. Understanding
that the United Nations as a world governing body is ineffectively
and inadequately structured to deal with growing number of
critical world problems since 1958, people from all continents
have gathered, debated and drafted the Constitution for the
Federation of Earth.
We
know that young people are dominating the world population
and are always playing a very important role at both national
and international levels in securing a peaceful, livable world
for all. Young people need to take a leadership role in the
work for global movement of democratic World Government, the
last chance and hope to save Planet Earth and its inhabitants.Therefore,
we seek your participation, support and leadership in making
the ongoing global movement for World Government a grand success.
For
your organization to join GREN, the global campaign for World
Government, we are enclosing the GREN Resolution Form as well
as a Reply Form to nominate your representatives to work with
the global and regional youth action committee for GREN. Please,
respond as quickly as possible because the action is necessary
urgently as world political, environmental, social and economic
situation are deteriorating every day. We need the right alternative
now.
